Addressing the students  in the three-day workshop on script writing conducted by the department of film studies, Malayalam University, renowned novelist and script writer C. V Balakrishnan opined that a well-crafted film is the result of a sound script. A film actualizes in visualizing emotions onscreen.

Dr. Anil Vallathol, Vice Chancellor, presided over the function and said that one wonders whether contemporary movies fail to showcase life in their pursuit of unnatural and exaggerated narratives. C. V Balakrishnan talked about the concept and content in script writing and the structural outline of a script. Prof. Madhu Eravankara and Sudheer S Salam also addressed the students.
