Welcome to the School of Creative Writing, a prestigious department under the Sahitya faculty of Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University. Since its inception in 2013, our school has been at the forefront of fostering creative writing talent in India.

We offer specialized courses in M.A. Malayalam (Creative Writing) and Ph.D., providing students with a unique opportunity to hone their writing skills and explore their creative potential. Our faculty comprises renowned writers, scholars, and industry experts who guide students in their literary journey.

As the only postgraduate department in India dedicated to Creative Writing at the university level, we take pride in our innovative approach to teaching and learning. Our curriculum is designed to nurture creativity, critical thinking, and writing excellence, preparing students for successful careers in writing, publishing, and related fields.
