M.A. Film Studies
This unique course takes the students through the history of cinema, film theories, world cinema, Indian cinema, Malayalam cinema. Students are introduced to the trends in film making, film criticism and helps acquire a new film culture. The course exposes the students to the theory and practice of film making as well. The interface and relationship of cinema with other art forms and literature is also emphasized.
