Darsini 2018- the two-day international film festival organized by Malayalam University concluded. Inaugurating the valedictory function of the festival, eminent film director Priyanandan said one is often compelled  to make adjustments and be ready for compromises and he himself had to make compromises at times. He added that film festivals can trigger novel rends and perspectives. Around 35 movies were screened in the four theaters set up in the university – rangasaala, chithrasala,P A Bekkar hall and Aravindan hall.  

The event was presided by Prof. Dr. Anithakumari registrar in charge . Dr Sudheer Shah Salam, E. R. anilkumar, Muhammed Mashook ,T. P. Abhijith and Amrutha Vijayan talked at the function. Priyanandan’s Asaantham and Sanju Surendran’s Edan were screened as the closing movies.
