Ph.D course of the university is designed to encourage a new culture of critical thinking and intellectual exploration. University has a distinct research policy. Enriching the knowledge on Kerala is a guiding principle in finalizing research topics. Designed as a six semester programme, a Ph. D scholar has to complete a course work of one semester’s duration, and submit the thesis at the end of the sixth semester and face an open defense.
