‘Kilikkudam’ Project commenced on
Kilikkudam (bowl for birds) program to provide the birds with water to survive the scorching summer got going in Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University today. As mercury rise up in the thermometer, even as people are trying all means to survive the summer season , NSS unit and the department of Environmental studies, Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University keeps a few bowls of water for the birds in search of water. Dr. Anil Vallathol inaugurated the program. About six clay bowls have been placed on various parts of the campus to provide water. The students who bagged prizes in the quiz and drawing competitions as part of world water day were given their prizes at the function. Dr. R Dhanya, Dr. Manjusha Varma (co-ordinators, NSS) and Harsha and Athulya (unit secretaries) also addressed the students at the function.
